New Patient
We welcome new patients to Helensvale Chiropractic Centre, it is so gratifying to see so many
patients come to see us with all sorts of chronic or acute aches and pains, and to see them through
their healing journey feeling so much better. In fact, most of our patients are referred to us by happy
and satisfied patients that have experienced fantastic results themselves.
What to expect
Initial Consultation
Helensvale Chiropractic Centre offers a $29 Initial Consultation for all new patients. This includes
case history, orthopaedic, neurological and posture assessment, plus X-Rays if clinically required. The
X-Rays are bulk billed. The fee does not include an adjustment, the fee schedule will be discussed
with you during the consultation. If you are in a lot of pain and discomfort, treatment can commence
on the first visit.
Report of Findings Visit
All findings from the X-Rays, orthopaedic, neurological and posture assessment will be correlated
with your case history and fully explained to you so that you have a complete understanding of what
the problem is. All questions will be answered like: Can my problem be fixed? How do you fix it?
How long will it take? How much will it cost? What can I do at home or work? Are there any
exercises I can do? We encourage you to ask lots of questions.
Normal Adjusting Visits
On these visits each adjustment adds onto the next, our goal here is to restore normal movement
and function to your spine. Using gentle, safe and effective adjusting/mobilisation techniques,
muscle therapy plus corrective stretches. Restoring spinal flexibility and function is like stretching a muscle. It is a process and it takes time.
Progress Visits
Every so often we like to see how you are progressing, so we often do progress exams to monitor
the changes that are happening to your spine and posture. This is both reassuring for the patient and
the chiropractor that we are on the right path.
